Ballymena Class meets on Tuesday night at 8pm in the Methodist Church Hall, Ballymoney Street, just down from the Adair Arms Hotel.

The Teacher is Evelyn Redmond.

This year the class has welcomed several new dancers and some people who have returned to dancing after a break. The beginners have done very well and by week six they were dancing confidently in a set with the other members of the class.

Anyone who has not danced before will be given special help at the start of each evening to learn the basic formations and the two basic steps in SCD: the Travelling Step and the Setting Step. Once you know this you can do many easy dances: this years beginners have done it in 6 weeks, so could you!
