ScottishDancing.org provide a blog area for class announcements. This allows class secretaries
to post news items about thier class. e.g. The date of the first class of a new term or notification
that a class will not be held on a particular night.
How does this help my class members?
Class members can visit your class announcement blog to see any new announcements. Alternatively
class members can subscribe to an RSS
feed in order to receive the announcements (e.g. in their email client, web browser or even
mobile phone).
They can also download the ScottishDancing.org toolbar which will display the class announcements in a news ticker at the top of their internet browser.
