Portadown Scottish Country  Dance Group 50th Anniversary Dance. 50 Years of  dancing on display. Guests arriving for  the evening. Evelyn welcomed the  Mayor of Craigavon. The Mayor of  Craigavon with the Portadown group Chairperson, Elizabeth; Teacher, Jinty and Members. The beautiful display  of flowers was provided by local florist Pete. Pete is a  busy man. A big dance  starts with a Grand March to bring the dancers into the ballroom. Here the dancers will be piped in. Guests at the  50th Anniversary dance. Guests at the  50th Anniversary dance. Everyone enjoying the  next dance. There is always  time for a break between dances to catch up with friends. The group provided  a fantastic meal for guests. The highlight of  which was this wonderful cake. The Mayor of  Craigavon with guest of honour Daphne, one of the original members of the group, and Jinty, the current teacher. Daphne cutting the  anniversary cake. The cake was  good - Will we have another slice? After dinner, dancing  recommenced with an energetic 4 hands across. Jinty dancing a  reel. This dance got  Everybody up - A night to remember.
