The dancers who volunteered to take the session at this event. Marlyn, Jinty, Shanice, Helen, Colin, Elizabeth, Adrian, Rebecca who were joined by three friends from other groups. Afrer days of rain, Saturday 4th of August was a day of brilliant sunshine. Here the group tries to work out if Hammy is the Sun God. Everyone dancing a circle, a popular formation in ceilidhs and Scottish Country Dancing. This dance formation is called a chase, rumour has it that some young men take up Scottish Country Dancing to chase women. Maybe this is how this formation originated! Sorry Adrian, you're already taken.
The dancers travel down the set. Some of the people who attended the RSPBA championships waiting for the next dance. Scottish dancing keeps you fit and you also make a lot of wonderful friends.
