21st January 2019 ScottishDancing.org is currently getting a re-write to make it HTML 5 compliant.

There will also be new content arriving over the next few months so keep checking back.
29th June 2017 New server: ScottishDancing.org has moved to a new server. Our next project is to completely re-design the site and bring it up to date.
29th June 2017 Change of URL's: ScottishDancing.info and ScottishDancing.mobi have changed to Dancipedia.ScottishDancing.org and m.ScottishDancing.org. The old names will continue to work for a while but you should update your favourites, bookmarks and links.
5th December 2010 The Argory Christmas Craft Fair is one of the highlights of Christmas for everyone in Craigavon and Armagh.
The Scottish Dancers came along with news of one of their new activities for 2011 The 8 Easy Dances from Scotland
On a cold, sunny, snowy day the shortbread and flumps went down well with visitors and, if you're wondering, the warmest person was Colin in his thick woolly socks and kilt!

3rd December 2008 Now that the site is on the new server, the Dancipedia project is underway. Follow the link in the menu to the left for "Dancipedia"

The Dancipedia is an encyclopedia of Scottish Dancing, as time goes on it will be populated with information on dances, music & lots more.

It uses the same software as Wikipedia.org. Users can register and become editors to update information.

24th November 2007 Dance Cribs on your mobile!

There is now a searchable database of dance cribs online. It is primarily aimed at mobile browsing (i.e. You can look up cribs on your mobile phone) although is can be viewed on a desktop PC. If you set IE to enlarge the text (View -> Text size -> Largest) it will look better.

The cribs themselves are from Minicrib and we would like to thank Charles Upton for allowing us to use them.

7th November 2007 We have just launched a new Scottish Dancing site specifically designed to be viewed on mobile phones and other small mobile devices.

It can be viewed on a PC but the pages will look very small.

18th October 2007 QUB FREE CEILIDH POSTPONED - Unfortinately, due to a last minute hitch with the venue, we have had to postpone the Free Ceilidh that was to be held in the Students Union. 1st August 2006 With the hot days of July behind us and August packed full of festivals and gigs and more hot days the Country Dancing world is already preparing for new classes and events in 2006. The website events pages will be updated over the next few weeks and keep your eye on the newspapers and arts publications for details of what is happening in September.
